So... I decided to attempt to keep a blog about our family. I partly want to do it to keep our family and friends informed about what we're up to, Kemble's latest accomplishments, and of course show lots of pictures. However, I also want to document all the little things Kemble does as she grows, so we will always have it to look back on.
I regret not doing it sooner, especially during my pregnancy (which you can see below I started, and very quickly forgot about) and then through Kemble's 18 days of NICU stays. So much of her hospital stay is a blur to us, between the lack of sleep and the huge amount of emotional stress we were under, we've forgotten a lot of the specific ups and downs of her day-to-day life there. I also know that I probably wouldn't have had the time to post updates anyway though, so I won't beat myself up about that too much!
Now that we're home, and I'm not working anymore, hopefully I can make the time to keep track of everything! I'm sure it will seem monotonous and boring at first, because.... well, Kemble and I don't get out much! I am trying to keep her warm and away from germs in our house as much as possible - and somehow she managed to get sick anyway! But as she gets bigger, older and stronger, things should pick up a bit. :)
I always enjoy reading other mommies' blogs, so I hope everyone enjoys ours. If you've noticed I haven't updated in a while... remind me! I'm afraid it will take me a while to get in the habit, but I really do look forward to trying.
