Nunny

I've said this a million times.... but Kemble just loves her stuffed animals! Even when she was only a few months old, it was clear she was going to adore them! It might get bonus points if it is super soft, squeaks, rattles or crinkles, but she loves them all pretty equally and is happy to see any one of them. However, her favorite, seems to be her Bunny. It's a super soft, floppy, little brown bunny given to her by our dear family friend, Jean. She loves to put his (or her?) ears over her eyes.

I swear, I found her like this that day! I didn't touch them!

I think he's definitely in the running to be her lovey, although maybe she will always just need any stuffed animal?!

Today, we were playing with one of her other bunnies, her pink one that Nonnie gave her for Easter, and I said "who is this?" and she said, clear as a bell, "Nunny". I freaked out, then gave her the hugest hug and went on and on about how smart she was. Then I ran to get THE bunny, and again said "what about this one, who is this?" and she said "Nunny!" right before she embraced him in a huge hug and buried her face into him. She said it many more times throughout the day.

I was so proud of her for knowing they were both bunnies, even though they are different. Also, I feel like that's just the name she wants to call them, because if there's a letter she can say easiest, it's B, she says lots of B words from time to time, so I just feel like Nunny is the most adoring nickname she has for them, and I really hope it sticks!! Now, I just don't know if I too should refer to them as Nunny or if she'll grow up thinking that rabbits are called nunnies instead of bunnies if I do that!

So, this post is dedicated to her Nunny's and all her other stuffed animals who, as you can tell, have brought her so much joy and will continue to for many years!

As I looked back through old pictures to find pictures of Bunny for this post, I started looking at old pictures of her, and realized how much she really has grown up! I also panicked slightly wondering about pictures that reminded me of little moments and trying to remember if I blogged about them! Oh how I miss my little snugglebug who used to take naps on my chest, but I love just as much my little independent doodlebug who is starting to talk and learn so much!
